Mayer Brown is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that offers everyone the opportunity and support to succeed. To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, please join Mayer Brown partners Paul Theiss, Elizabeth (Liz) Espín Stern and Marlon Paz who will be hosting an insightful panel session on the impact of Hispanic demographics on the US election and US corporate boards. They will be joined by keynote speakers Gilbert F. Casellas, a leader on corporate boards, noted author and professor, and the first Latino to have served as Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Mark Hugo Lopez, Director of Hispanic Research at the Pew Research Center.
With the 2020 United States presidential election just weeks away, the panelists will focus their discussion on the demographics of the Latino voting population, the increasing importance of Latino donors, and how the current election cycle is different from the 2016 election. They will also be discussing service by Hispanic business leaders on boards as well as the importance of being able to effect national change through board service and advocacy.
