Kevin Gsell, Head of Legal Solutions & Partnerships at Nasdaq Private Markets, joined our annual session on late stage or pre-IPO private placements earlier this week. As discussed during our session, as companies choose to remain private longer, and defer liquidity events, early investors and employees require liquidity opportunities. In fact, in many cases, the ability to provide liquidity to employees has become a retention tool. Kevin shared details relating to the number of companies and transactions that have taken place through the Nasdaq Private Market. In addition, many of these transactions have been structured through a private tender process. Access his slides here.
